We’re back! Kohler is returning to Design Miami with a dreamy new Pearlized finish showcased in Underlight, a stunning exhibit by Harry Nuriev and Crosby Studios.

The Art of Innovation

The Pearlized finish is the culmination of Kohler’s passion for visual arts and manufacturing innovation. Developed with artist David Franklin during his time in the Kohler MakerSpace art residency program, the finish process was then meticulously engineered for application to the Artist Editions® Derring sink.

Now in its 51st year, the Arts/Industry program is a collaborative residency between Kohler Co. and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center that offers visual artists freedom to explore their creative vision through access to Kohler’s production facilities and materials expertise. Artist David Franklin, whose work inspired the new Pearlized finish, is a two-time resident in Arts/Industry.
