I have had a Kohler Cast Iron Kitchen Sink for 23 years and have always used the Kohler brand Cast Iron Cleaner to remove scuffs and scratches from washing pots and pans.  I recently ordered a new bottle of cleaner and discovered the formula has changed. This new version is thin and runny and takes 3-4x as much cleaner to remove the same amount of scratches, as the old formula did.  I also find I have to rub the new cleaner much harder to get it to work.  The old formula was thick and gritty, and only required a small dab to clean perfectly.  As a consumer, my impression is Kohler has dumbed down this cleaner so that its less expensive to manufacture, and therefore they can make a bigger  profit on it. Bad marketing move Kohler - if you'll do this to your cleaner, it makes me wonder what you might be doing to all your other products to cut corners.

I purchased this for my Kohler cast iron tub, which is textured on the bottom. It ended up staining my tub. Terrible product.

Cast iron cleaner

I love this cleaner for my sinks. They are still beautiful after 6 years. I clean with dish soap regularly and the cast iron cleaner once a week and it keeps the sinks like brand new. Thanks Kohler.

Cast Iron Cleaner

Great job removing any stains or scratches—best cleaner I've found for my Kohler sink.

Excellent cleaner!

While not the best "get down and clean" product, it does put a gorgeous lustre on antique sinks (of which we have a few)!  Not what I would use in the kitchen though--not tough enough on stains.

It's got its uses!

This is a great product and works great, but it exploded during shipment. The top broke off and I had to throw it away after using it.
